Berenice house, Aravaca (Madrid)
This is a rustic spot that is large plot in urban units of detached houses with isolated separation at all boundaries. The orientation radically contradicts the topography and the views of the mountains.
Has chosen to exploit the gap in the plot to integrate the program sued by the owner. We propose a reflection on life around a courtyard, recollection and quiet as activators of privacy.
The housing is available in three levels staggered in height.
Basement floor - swimming: Area for a heated pool with outside terrace overlooking the garden.
Ground floor - living: shelter. The project idea was based on the formalization of a dump site in the inner courtyard as an area of landscape itself and good solar orientation. The courtyard appears as the computer of life and relationships. In the wing have This is the bedroom and in the west wing is the kitchen and support rooms with a small shelter for guardeses.
Upper level - working: At times in the north was closed for a second floor room looking for work and study the views of the Sierra Norte.
The inner workings of the shelter tries to integrate the circulations through diaphanous spaces with the concept enclosure that looks inward, and in turn lead to the North in a large terraced area you are looking for specific views.
