The Solar contituye one of the limits of the existing urban fabric of Almaden de la Plata. It has a trapezoidal layout and is characterized by a steeply sloping topography towards the north. The homes sit on the ground assuming the differences in levels of this without aggression, thus following the current growth of the municipality. Seven are located in the upper house and eight in the bottom, making the set a total of 15 homes.
The location of the site and the downward slope to the south, guaranteed housing some excellent views of the mountains and a favorable orientation to the sun. It was built two types of housing, the first located in the upper zone, organizes distribution at two levels, which are adapted to the natural slope of the terrain, and the second with a similar internal distribution, located in the lower zone, is developed in Only one level. After the building is located a terrace and garden area.
The two types are built with traditional construction methods: load-bearing walls, floors covered with tile and unidirectional slant. The interiors are characterized by their spatial quality, brightness and great versatility.
